The innovative and complex Wall-a-Way basic
mechanisms provide the following advantages:
The armchair can be positioned with its back up to 6 cm away
from a wall or another piece of furniture, without its functions
being limited – in particular the folding out of its
back. This is achieved by the reclining area being moved in
the direction of the foot-rest when one lets down the back.
2 switch buttons on the manual control are sufficient for
operating all functions including the optional stand-up function.
This manual control is easy to use and so presents no problems
for older people.
